Eight Annual Tip-Off Luncheon
In the spirit of being “Young and Hungry,” the Grizzlies invited fans from across the Mid-South over for lunch, as they held their Eighth Annual Tip-Off Luncheon on Friday, October 24 at FedExForum. All proceeds from the event went to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Memphis.
With the Grizzlies players and staff dressed to the nines, fans had a chance to interact with players, get autographs and ask questions about the upcoming season before anyone even sat down to eat the scrumptious lunch provided by Levy Restaurants. After pairs of Grizzlies their took their seats at different tables with fans who were lucky enough to be randomly selected to have players at their table, MC’s Pete Pranica and Sean Tuohy kicked off the program.
Some of the highlights of the luncheon program included a conversation with Grizzlies Head Coach Marc Iavaroni about the upcoming season, a speech from a member of a Boys and Girls Club of Greater Memphis and an exciting live auction.
